AI for Kids.

Learn to create with AI, not just use it.

Artificial Intelligence is already in the games kids play, the videos they watch and the maps their parents follow. This course shows them how it actually works, and puts them in the driving seat.

// what you will learn

Artificial Intelligence, explained by building it.

Over 16 one-hour classes students go from “what is AI?” to shipping a website, an app, a chatbot and a voice assistant they built themselves.

// what they learn
  • ▪Core AI Concepts: What AI is, how machine learning and data work, and where AI already turns up in YouTube, games, Alexa and maps.
  • ▪Training Your Own Model: Google Teachable Machine. Train AI on images, sounds and poses, test it on classmates and find out where it gets things wrong.
  • ▪Building with No-Code AI: Create a real personal webpage with Lovable and generate AI voice-over scripts with OpenAI.fm.
  • ▪Apps & Prototypes with v0.dev: Turn an idea into a working quiz, game or calculator, then share and test it with the rest of the class.
// going further
  • ▪ChatGPT & Claude, Side by Side: Ask both the same questions, compare creative and factual answers, and learn what each one is actually good at.
  • ▪Chatbots: Text and Voice: Build a simple text chatbot, then extend it with voice input and output into a talking assistant.
  • ▪Virtual Doctor with Groq Cloud: Explore how AI is used in healthcare, role-play with a virtual doctor, then debate whether it should replace one.
  • ▪Ethics & Responsible Use: Bias, limitations, safe use and an honest look at what AI still cannot do.

Eight weeks. Sixteen classes. Five things built.

Two one-hour classes a week. Every module ends with something on screen, not just something in a notebook.

// 21st century skills

Beyond the syllabus.

Every BBT Kids course is built around the same four skills, taught through the subject rather than alongside it.

Critical Thinking

The ability to analyze, evaluate and make reasoned decisions.

Creativity

Fostering innovation, imagination and problem-solving.

Communication

Expressing ideas clearly and effectively in different forms.

Collaboration

Working well with others to achieve shared goals.

// is this right for your child?

Who this is for.

Curious 12-year-olds and up

No coding background needed. Every tool in this course is no-code or low-code by design.

Kids who already use ChatGPT

Using AI casually is not the same as building with it. This is the step up.

Young gamers and YouTubers

They already live inside AI-powered products. This shows them what is under the hood.

Future engineers and scientists

An early, honest introduction to machine learning, data and model bias.

Kids who like making things

Websites, apps, chatbots and voice assistants. All built and demoed in eight weeks.

Parents planning ahead

AI literacy is turning into a baseline skill. Starting at 12 is a real advantage.

Your questions, answered straight.

What age is the AI for Kids course for?
It is designed for children aged 12 and above. Younger children in the 6-15 camp are usually a better fit for STEM Robotics or Big Maths first.
Does my child need to know how to code?
No. The course is deliberately hands-on rather than code-heavy. Every tool used (Teachable Machine, Lovable, v0.dev, ChatGPT, Claude) is no-code or low-code.
How long is the course?
Two months: 16 classes, 2 classes per week, 1 hour each.
What will my child have at the end?
Five finished projects (a website, AI voice scripts, a small app, a chatbot and a virtual doctor demo), presented on the final day, plus a BBT certificate.
Is it safe? What about AI ethics?
Safe and responsible use is built into the syllabus, not bolted on. Weeks 5 and 7 cover bias, limitations, ethics and an honest debate about what AI should and should not be trusted with.
Is the course available online?
No. BBT Kids classes run onsite only, at our Lahore campus in DHA Phase II. The hands-on, in-person format is a deliberate part of how these courses work.
